Interior Lighting Design

From design to reality, Rebecca will manage the project all the way.

Imagine your home illuminated in a way that enhances every room and highlights your favorite decorations. Whether you're looking to create a cozy atmosphere or showcase your personal style, the bespoke lighting design package brings your vision to life.

Starting with a personal consultation, Rebecca will listen to your ideas and, where appropriate, develop a custom 3D model of your home to show the transformative impact of lighting on each room. From there, Rebecca oversees the project every step of the way, ensuring your lighting design seamlessly transitions from concept to reality, making your home feel warm, inviting, and beautifully lit.

HOW IT WORKS

Stage 1: Initial Brief

Share your project’s plans, drawings, or 3D visuals along with any design ideas you have. We’ll then meet to discuss your vision, including lighting concepts, during a detailed briefing call or meeting. This step typically takes 1-2 hours.

Stage 2: Key Area Concept.

To ensure you're happy with the direction, we’ll create 3D visualizations of a few key areas. You’ll receive a PDF with visuals and fitting details, plus a Zoom walkthrough of your project. A cost estimate for fittings is provided at this stage, which typically takes 4-6 hours depending on complexity.

Stage 3: Design Development.

Once you approve the key area concepts, we proceed with the full lighting design. Additional 3D renders and 2D layouts may be provided, along with a complete quote for fittings and installation. The time required varies based on project size and complexity.

Stage 4: Final Plans.

After your written approval, we’ll create detailed CAD plans, specifying lighting positions, circuits and installation notes. If needed, we also offer project supervision to ensure everything is installed smoothly and to specification. Site visits can be arranged based on the project scope and location.

Fees

Design fee - £125 per hour

Colour Consultancy

Design to transform the feel of your home through the interactions of colour & light

Naturally, colour and light come together to create atmosphere and impact how we feel about a space.  Colours must be considered when designing a lighting scheme, just as light must be taken into account when choosing colours.
The choice of colours available can seem limitless with such subtle differences between shades that paralysis of choice is a common issue.  It can be all too easy to play it safe and stick to the same limited neutral colour palette because anything else just feels a little overwhelming.
By picking colours which are of the moment, yet unlikely to date quickly and by putting together a palette of colours which compliment each other and continue a story or theme throughout the spaces in your property, it is possible to create a subtle yet interesting scheme for your home which will help to both define and underline its personality. Bolder colour is having a moment right now.  With some help, you needn’t be afraid to introduce a little into your home.  As with lighting design, colour consultancy is about helping you to make choices with confidence and avoid common mistakes.

HOW IT WORKS

Stage 1: Initial Brief.

A site visit or Zoom call to discuss the project and gather information is the first step.  Following this meeting, you will be asked to provide more specific information on elements which will impact the choice of colours for your project, such as photos of the areas to be decorated and details of their use and orientation, pictures of furniture and other elements to be incorporated in the scheme and any images of schemes you have seen which inspire you.

Stage 2: First Concepts.

We will go away and work on some initial colour concepts to discuss with you at the second meeting.  Feedback from this meeting will be taken forward to inform the final colour scheme specification for each space looked at.

Stage 3: Plans & Spec.

You will be sent a document depicting and detailing the colours specified for each surface in each area (and the type of paint required for each).
